Mindful Mondays @ The Robert McLaughlin Gallery!

Join me on Monday September 26th for Mindful Mondays. We will be starting our fall session and it will take place over six weeks ending on Monday November 7th. So what is Mindful Mondays? It is an opportunity to take a lunch break and connect your body and mind using your breath. We will complete guided breath meditations. We engage with the beautiful space and art and explore reflection and practice being present with intention and attention. The fusion of art and mindful meditation is a beautiful synergy. Often when we visit a gallery we walk through and gaze upon art for a few minutes or seconds at a time. Each piece of art took hours upon hours to create. Emotions and dreams laced within each stroke and connection from the artists hand to the pen, brush or textile. There is an entire world within each work of art to discover. In this program we encourage participants to engage and be present and notice what comes up.

There is a great quote from The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle. “All true artists, whether they know it or not, create from a place of no-mind, from inner stillness.”

The first two pieces we will be interacting with are in the image above. To the left we have “All my little failures,” created by Andrew McPhail. Can you guess what this piece is made of? Come out on Monday and I’ll tell you! The second piece we will be exploring is a Portrait of an Activist Thandi Young created by Syrus Marcus Ware.

I hope you can join us over the next six weeks. The Robert McLaughlin Gallery is a beautiful gem. Come and visit, especially on every first Friday of the month. There is live music, wine & beer and much more.

Have a lovely day. I hope to see you soon.

Hello and welcome! My name is Randi-Mae and I am a author, counselor and inspirational speaker, or simply a woman on a journey with a mission to help people, explore the journey to peace within and living with joy. From a young age I have always had a curiosity about life and purpose. I was blessed to have parents who instilled in me the idea of self love and the concept of “love thy self.” Whether they believed it or not it was the message that they were meant to give me as my parents that has always had a place within me. It is a one of the four principles I include while working with people. The foundation of my practice rests upon the following four principles. Love Meditation Visualization Motion My goal and purpose is to assist you with discovering your strength and intuition through tapping into the insight and wisdom you have gained along the way on your journey while you actively participate in the school of life through lessons and experiences. Have a lovely day. Randi-Mae
